The Door

Anger is knocking. Will you prop the door open or let it close?

Jesus doesn't condemn anger, but warns us not to let it consume us. When we give anger unfettered access to our hearts, it shapes our character and destroys relationships.

Instead, Christ calls us to deal with anger in healing ways:
• Give yourself a 48-hour 'anger embargo'
• Pray and journal your feelings • Cultivate the fruit of the Spirit

Remember: Reconciliation matters more to God than our worship. Close the door on anger. Open your heart to life and connection.

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. -Ephesians 5:26-27

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. -James 1:19-20
