With November’s arrival comes our Season of Giving—a special time each year when we unite to share, bless and serve others. Beginning this Sunday, we’ll launch three intentional giving efforts that invite everyone to participate in making a difference.
At the heart of it all is a simple command: love your neighbor. It’s more than a phrase—it’s a way of seeing the world. Loving our neighbor means paying attention, stepping toward need and trusting that even small acts of kindness can carry the weight of God’s love. This season gives each of us a chance to do just that—to turn gratitude into action and compassion into something someone else can feel.
It's an opportunity to live out the greatest command.

Filling the Gap Together
Regional Food Bank
As families who depend on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Oklahoma) face a lapse in funds- 686,800 Oklahomans are/will be struggling as funding expires this Saturday- we are positioned to love our neighbor during a tumultuous time. We’re joining the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to fill the gap—helping ensure families don’t go hungry.
For the first two Sundays of November (11/2 & 11/9), we are seeking help in providing to the largest food bank in the state as they work to fill the food need for families during this time.

- GIVE MONETARILY
- $1 donated provides 3 meals through the Regional Food Bank. We've set a modest goal of $1,000 that can be given directly to the Food Bank through the button below. If you'd prefer to give monetarily, rest assured that every single dollar donated will go to the purchase of food for Oklahoma famlies.
- GIVE SPECIFIC ITEMS
- If you and/or your children would prefer to donate physical items, you may bring specific needs to the building over the next two weeks. The items needed are: Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna & Chicken, Canned Fruits, Cereal & Oatmeal, Soup & Stew, Pasta & Canned Sauce, Beans (Canned or Dry) and Canned Vegetables are needed. These items may be placed in the Food Bank box located in the foyer the next two Sunday mornings.
Because Everyone Deserves a Thanksgiving
Second Chances
Second Chances is a Christian ministry called to serve and support individuals struggling with homelessness, addiction and recovery and other difficult transitions. And we've partnered, once again, with them to help provide parts of their Thanksgiving feast for our homeless friends on Sunday, November 23.
- GIVE $5 BILLS
- While the Thanksgiving meal seeks to nourish belly and soul through a time of food and fellowship, our homeless friends will also be blessed with some practical items. $5 bills are a real need for folks who nomadic lives. These bills are a way to obtain transportation in OKC. Everyone who attends will be blessed with some $5 bills as an aid.
$5 bills may be marked via an envelope in the contribution box in the back of the big room. They may be given to Travis or any one of our shepherds directly. You may also give online thru the button link below.

- GIVE A HAM
- Ham will be a part of the feast on 11/23. This meal is more than food, but an opportunity to connect and encourage neighbors who are often forgotten. And like any feast, food is a must! This year, we have committed to providing hams that will be served as part of the feast. Ham, in any size, may be brought to 4900 any time between November 16 thru 19. Not before, please, as we will not have the space to refrigerate them. Please sign up through the button for us to adequately plan for this giving.
Coming in December...

The Giving Tree is an opportunity to directly bless local Edmond children and families with needed Christmas gifts. We are working to once again partner with Heritage Elementary and the Edmond Hope Center.
