Connection Groups

We offer a variety of small groups that meet most Sunday evenings at various homes. Groups are a school year long group or a seasonal group. Every group connects through fellowship, prayer and Bible study.

What to Expect

When you join us in-person we want you to know what you can expect:

  • parking and entrance

You'll notice Heritage flags and signs indicating the entrance off Sorghum Mill Rd. Parking and entrance into the school is from the school's east parking lot. We offer guest parking close to the overhang entrance.

  • greeting

We will have greeters at the doors to help with any needs or immediate questions you might have and to help find seating. We worship in the school's gym to allow for social distant seating. Chairs will be set up in family clusters, please feel fee to sit anywhere.

  • singing

You'll find that our worship is ‘a cappella;’ that is, we sing without the use of musical instruments. We love the beauty and joy of worshiping God with our voices all together. We believe you will find the singing meaningful and uplifting, with everyone being invited to participate. Through this pandemic, however, we must ask that everyone 1st grade and older to wear their face covering the entire time. Yes, even while we sing.

  • Communion

Communion will also be a part of our worship. During this time, we take time to eat bread (symbolizing the body of Jesus) and drink grape juice (symbolizing the blood of Jesus). You do not have to participate in this celebration of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Which we partake in every week together. We are currently not passing the bread and juice. We are offering prepackaged bread and juice packets that may be picked up on your way inside the gym. You are also welcome to bring your own bread and juice.

  • preaching

When you honor us with a visit you will hear spoken prayers and a lesson from God’s Word. We believe in the power of prayer and God’s Word, so these aspects will take up a considerable amount of our worship time. The lesson is normally 25 minutes long. We hope you find it refreshingly Bible-centered and applicable to your life.

  • OPTIONAL face coverings

As of June 6, 2021 face coverings are optional while inside the school building. However, face coverings are strongly encouraged and will be accepted for anyone who desires to wear one. At the same time, we need to continue to be mindful of social distancing and contact as we look towards the end of the pandemic

  • Contribution

Contribution to both our regular ministries and to our building fund can be done online. There will be no passing of baskets as we seek to offer a contactless worship together. Checks may also be mailed to the church office: 2524 North Broadway, Edmond 73034. CLICK HERE TO GIVE ONLINE

  • online bulletin

You can learn more about Heritage, that day's worship and sign our online Welcome Book at EdmondHeritage.church/Sunday
