We know visiting a new place, especially a new church, can feel overwhelming. We want to help in any way we can. We are truly glad you are with us and grateful for the opportunity to worship together.

Here is a quick overview of what you can expect this morning at Heritage. We hope it is helpful.
Worship
Worship will be filled with singing, communion, preaching and a dedicated time for our children to hear God's Word. It will begin at 9:30 and end around 10:15 (this varies a few minutes).

You'll notice there is no published worship order as we invite everyone to be a part of worship- letting go of checking off the list.
Children's Message
We love children. Each week we invite children to the front of the room for a dedicated children's message. We want to share scripture in an age appropriate way during a moment in our worship that is for them.

Our worship leader will invite children to the front when it's time. You'll also see our screens inviting children to the stage.
Praise Packs for Children
Kiddos are welcome to grab a green bagged Praise Pack in the foyer as they enter. They are filled with worship related activities and a small snack.

We love children and enjoy their presence in worship. We believe in being all together and the importance of sharing worship with all ages. We hope these packs are a useful, age appropriate aid.
Attended Nursery
We will offer an attended nursery in worship. Our worship leader will specifically offer this attended time to make it clear when our nursery workers are ready. Children are not required to attend! It's an option for parents. There is always two attendants over the age of 14 who are background checked. Children may be picked up during the song after the message.
Nursing Mother's Room
We have a dedicated, private, peaceful space for nursing mothers throughout the morning. The room is located through the nursery. It's always available and open.
Fellowship
We love to be together and we make it a priority. You'll notice a time of fellowship and class preparation after worship and before Bible classes. We have coffee in the foyer, but welcome a time of conversation for a few minutes before class.
Bible Classes
We offer Bible classes for all ages. CLICK HERE for a map of class locations. All children thru 4th grade are asked to check in through one of our kiosk. Look for anyone of our volunteers wearing a Heritage Kids lanyard for any questions.

FAQ'S

Will I be singled out if I’m new?
No. We want you to experience Heritage at your own pace, so we won’t put you through any uncomfortable, high pressure tactics. When you’re ready to take a next step with us - to learn more about our church, or to join a class, or to place membership - we’ve tried to create simple ways for guests to reach out to us to help make those things happen.
Is there a dress code?
Nope. Most people dress casually. You'll see all kinds of dress from people. There's nothing more common or expected. Whatever you're comfortable with is great with us.
What about my kids?
We welcome sounds of crying babies and fidgety kids - which we believe are signs of a healthy church. We strive to be a multi-generational church family, where people of all ages - children included - are connected and feel they are valued members.

At the same time, we do provide an attended nursery (0 to 36 months) for parents who need a time for their little ones to play and move while they are able to sit and participate in worship. This is an option, not required in any way. Children of always welcomed for the entirety of worship.

Following worship, we offer Bible classes for all ages. These are age appropriate classes that share God's Word and His love. All of our teachers (and nursery workers) are background checked and trained to supervise our kiddos.

Do you expect me to give to the contribution?
No. We expect our guests to give to our offering only if they feel led to do so. There are no expectations to contribute to the ministries and mission of our church. We believe that God has called all believers to give a portion of their time and money to Him, as all that we have belongs to our Father.
